Walmart insurance

My sister has Walmart insurance and they refuse to pay for WLS....does anyone else on here have this insurance? Does anyone know how to get by this insurance company to have the surgery done? Or does anyone have any suggestions otherwise???? THanks, Janet

Janet, have her contact Iowa State Insurance Commisioner (sp) & have her start writing letters to Vilsack, Grassley, Harkin & down the line. I'm going to talk to my para-legal friend & see about lobbying on insurance companies, taking their "God" status away from them. I emailed numerous letters about this. I have had some answers but it's time to stand up against insurance companies! Let us know how she turns out. Make sure she has all of her ducks in a row first with all the necessary paperwork, then fax & write. If this doesn't work let me know as my para legal friend said he would advocate also.
