2 days & 2 WOWS! /Protein

Sunday and Monday I have had to WOW moments that I had to share with people that would understnad. I am sure most of you post-ops have been thru this already so you know how I felt and the pre-ops will know soon! (promise!) Yesterday (Sunday) We went to a Christmas Open house at a friends' house.while trying to figure out what to wear I tried on a pair of jeans. 24's and they fit. In April I had bought a 28 that just barely fit. Today I got in my van to drive home from Mom's (van had been at her house for a few days because they were using it to hide presents.) Anyway. I got in and had to put the seat up 3 notches!! haven't ever driven with the seat in any position except clear back.. Not even in driver's ed! Then was able to tilt the wheel down and still not have it rub my stomach!! I also wanted to tell you all about the protein bars at Walgreens. Not great, but tolerable. The Carbwise brand were 1.99 each (ouch, but used to spend more at Mc.D's for breakfast) the others were 3 for $5. they are Carb solutions brand. I know I have heard of these before, but I am stubborn and have to find out for myself. Carbwise ( www.carbwiselowcarb.com ) I got the Chocolate Peanut crunch (can convince myself they are like a whatchamacallit candy bar) and the Choc. smores Crunch. both were ok. The Carb solutions ( ww.carbsolutions.com ) I got the Choc. Fudge Almond which was ok and the Creamy Choc. Peanut Butter which I will try for breakfast tomorrow. Just thought I would give you my 2 cents worth. Almost had to take out a loan for it too! happy Holidays! Elizabeth

Congratulations!!! Isn't it the best feeling to try on clothes that a couple months ago wouldn't even go up a thigh. I know it was the best day I had had when I got into a 20, down from a very tight 26. They could probably hear me scream with delight in town and I live 6+ miles away. As far as the bars go, I will have to check them out. I like the idea of actually chewing something for breakfast so I will have to go get some. I know I use the Carb Solutions protein drink. Mainly because I had it when I tryed the old protein diet way back. I have to have my choc. fix and it suits the purpose well. Well again, congratulations and keep smiling. Shelly
