Changed Doctors

I have changed doctors and am so happy I have done so. I met with Dr. Dwain Rogers who practices out of Mercy Hospital in Co. Bluffs, Ia. I am all set up for surgery with Dr. C. McBride, but the service and care I have received there doesn't even compare with the consultation I had with Dr. Rogers. I have been approved with the previous doctor and now am awaiting approval with the new doctor. This process should not take as long and I have talked with my insurance company today. They have been very helpful with giving out information and not giving me false facts. I would praise the Lord if I can get in yet this month, but I will still praise him if I can't get in until January. I can't wait till I can fit into the clothes that hang in my closet. If anyone is not happy with their surgeon, there is time to look around and find a GOOD surgeon *****ally cares for their patients. I may have to wait a bit longer, but it is well worth it when I have a doctor telling me that he will be with me during this journey, and that when he is not checking up on me, I need to be checking up on him. He is truly an angel sent from heaven. Sharon Buss

How do I find a new doctor? I had the surgery done in Grinnell, Ia in Jan of 2003. It now has come undone and has to be redone. I have already gotten the approveal from the insurance, but I can't get them to return by calls. I tried another center they said they don't do redo's. Where can I find someone to help?????

What type of surgery did you have Roux n Y, Lap Band? I found this different doctor on this website. You have to be your own investigator. No one will do it for you.
