strange pain, any ideas?

I posted this on the main board, but I usually get better ideas from all you local people out there. Hopefully someone has an idea. Thanks, Elizabeth Hopefully someone can help me with this. I am 7 weeks post-op and have this really horrendous pain in my left side. It is actually like "inside" my rib cage. It hurts when I stand up and try to bend over. I sneezed and actually screamed out it hurt so bad. I have a pretty high pain thresh hold. I take Darvocet every 4 hours for OA and Fibro, but that isn't even coming close to touching this. Any suggestions? Did I herniate it? I am not having any problems with eating or bowels, so I really think it is muscle related, not surgery related. Any and all ideas are welcome, before I sneeze again!

Elizabeth, I do not have any personal experience advice, but I do know that I have often seen people post about having these pains many weeks out from surgery. I would recommend calling your Surgeon's office 1st thing in the morning to be sure everything is ok, but I think (I cannot totally remember) that it was pretty normal healing. Take care! Tammy
