What are YOU thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Hi everyone! I hope this wonderful holiday finds you all to be healthy and happy I am so thankful for my family, friends, surgeons, and this web site~along with MANY other countless blessings. Hi Tammy I am thankful also for my health and realizing how big I was last year at thanksgiving is just awe inspiring. I am thankful for my son, and his high spirits, having a job, having a home to rent, being able to attend college, having wonderful parents that support me in so many ways, and having a wonderful *friend* that I care about deeply, who is slowly coming out of his shell with me. I am thankful also that bariatric surgery is a possibility for so many ppl out there, including myself. that the doctors went and learned about it, and are willing to do the surgery for all of us. that they are caring and understanding and do what you need to help you to live a longer healthier life. I am SO thankful I made the decision to give myself the best birthday present ever, to have gastric bypass surgery. (my bday was 5/12, turned 25, had surgery 5/15!) And I am thankful I have lost 115 lbs. A whole person off my back! lol. Hi Tammy and Judi, I am thankful that God has blessed me with family. I am blessed with 3 wonderful and healthy kids and an almost always wonderful hubby, (not happy with him right now). I am thankful for the health and love of my mom, brother and sisters and especially for my step-dad who just had a kidney removed yesterday due to cancer. I am really blessed with a good education, job, a good job for dh, a wonderful old house that we were able to rent 9 years and just bought this summer, vehicles to drive, etc. I am blessed with the insurance companies that have approved payment for surgery and the programs available to me in this journey. Even though my 'journey' so far has made me not particularly thankful for anything, one thing that has made me very thankful, is the presence of all of you, and your support for one another, and the excellent resource that is this website and message board. Seriously... I could never have gotten this far without all the information and help. Thank you all!
