Getting to Know you/Roll Call......
Hi Everyone! My name is Sherry Weber, from Fairbank, Iowa, and I am a pre-op. Actually I haven't even had my initial surgical consultation yet!
I am thankful that I have been blessed with two wonderful and caring families; my immediate family and then, of course, all of you wonderful people. We all have so mu*****ommon!
Since this will (hopefully) be my last pre-op Thanksgiving, I would have to say: Bring on the pumpkin Pie!!
Wishing everyone Happy Holidays to all of you and yours!
Blessed Be! Sherry

Happy Turkey Day to all! Elizabeth here, Friday will be 7 weeks post-op and as of yesterday I am down 46 lbs.
Right at this moment, I am thankful that I have my computer back from the shop so I can get caught up on the going's on of my "other" family. I have been cooking for 2 days now to get ready for Today. 12 people for dinner and One of the things I am truly thankful for is seeing the start of the return of my health. I am able to do more things and for longer times already.
I made the SF sweet potatoe pie from the cooking and baking message board. It was great, so I decided to modify the traditional pumpkin pie recipe and make it with splenda. I will let you know how it tastes when we finally cut into it.
