Hello, all, My name is Andrea Denger. I am pre-op, but not for too much longer. My open RNY is scheduled for December 8th. (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH only 1 week and 6 days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I have recently been put on a high protein, limited carb diet, (no grains). I am really looking forward to some turkey and gravy. Going to have to watch it so I don't overdo it that day! Nice to meet all of you, Andrea

Hi..... its Ms. Beautiful here, LOL LOL> Judi here, just over 6 months post op of a gastric bypass open surgery. down 114 lbs today! from a size 34 to a size 20/22 right now. Feeling great. Looking forward to some stuffing, I love that stuff, and a few bites of turkey.. and yes a few bites of sweet potatoes, you know the good ones with marshmellows on them. I am sure they will haunt me, but OH WEL. maybe 2 bites wont matter as much. Plus, I am hoping my family will come together and spend time together. It hasnt happened at all lately, and i do miss it. We're Deb and Jason Paul. Jason is down 78lbs after 3 months and i am down 63 after 2 months. It is an amazing thing...shrinking that is....we're enjoying it so much. It's wonderful seeing success like this in yourself, let alone your loved one. Jason says he's most excited for the turkey and I am most excited for the banana bread.

Hi, I'm Dixie Blasberg. I am 2 weeks pre-op. Since I started my liquids today I will be "enjoying" a feast of chicken broth & sugar free jello for Thanksgiving. But the good part is I don't have to cook the meal. My MIL is doing that & I am going there after everyone is done eating. Dixie

Jeri, here. I'm 4 1/2 months post op and down 80-82 pounds- depending on the day! I tried some turkey today- hoping it will go down a little better with some gravy to "lube" the way! Guess I look forward to some green bean casserole and a bite of pumpkin pie. THANK GOD, my mother in law decided against doing a pecan pie this year!

Hi Everyone, I'm Wendy Van Briesen. I am 7 weeks post-op and have lost 31 lbs. I am looking forward to turkey and mashed potatoes this year. We are having a small get-together only so there won't be all the "extras" like other years but everything will still be in moderation. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!
