Hey Everybody- Well I finally ventured downstairs to the computer after being home for 2 days! First, let me say a big thank you for all the prayers and well-wishes. Thank you to Tammy and Annette for calling me in the hospital and posting for me. As you all know, being surrounded by positiveness and support makes a huge difference! I am getting better each day and taking it slow. The only pain I have had is extreme muscle pain in the ribcage area. I feel like I did a thousand sit-ups!! Did any of you have a rib-spreader? All I can say is HOLY COW!!!!!!!!! (although in the big picture, pulled muscles are not THAT bad!) Again, thank you all for the support. This messageboard has meant a lot to me. Take Care, Lori

Glad you're home and doing well. I did not experience the rib pain- I don't envy you!Now comes the REAL education! Relearning how to eat and drink again will take time- a schedule at least for the first few days will help you get on track. Good luck and keep us apprised of your progress!

Glad you are feeling better, it sounds like you are doing very well. I think you and I had ours about the same time. I have had that ribcage and muscle soreness, if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have any pain. I told my husband it felt like someone beat the S--- out of me. But I got my drain tube out yesterday and that helped alot. Theresa
