Think I'm going to go if I don't hear something soon! I called twice last week about approval & told Marilyn at Medicaid I was going to be her favorite hemmoriod until I hear good news & that's APPROVAL! I'm going to call again this afternoon & again on Wednesday & again on Friday et****il I get some results. Think I'm running out of patience sound familiar to anyone? Bless my family for their patience with my mood swings the past 2 weeks, that's how long it's been since papers were submitted. Thanks to all the support from all of you My ex-mother-in-law called yesterday expressing her concern about WLS. She has a friend that went through WLS back in the 80's & is very sickly. I know of another gal the same way. I explained to her that those were the experimental years of WLS, things are way different now. Bless her she listened to me & wished me luck. I'm so fortunate to have support of my ex-husband & his folks as well as my own family. Will keep you posted on any news. Carolyn

Hoping for the best for you. Is n't it nice to have the support of your "ex" family? I have always been close to mine too. It's much easier that way! Waiting is the hardest! I'm glad I had my surgery done this year because it sounds like all the insurance companies are on alert to bariatric surgery and may be backing off on coverage. My place of work is switching ins in January and will only pay 60% of WLS. With all the budget cuts that plague Medicaid, I will say an extra prayer for you!
