Not sure what to think!

Hey all, I heard from the surgeons office yesterday and now after making me wait 2 months they decided that I may not have enough blood flow in the stomach veins to do the open surgery or even the laprascopic but to make sure I have to go have dopplers done again on my legs, I had an abdominal stent put in Sept of last year,If not enough blood flow, he says he can do a lap-band but is not doing them as of yet. I have been doing some reading and it don't sound to bad of a procedure but don't like the idea of erosion around the band which will mean hurry up surgery to remove. Has anyone had this and if so, what do you think about it? I have no idea what to do at this point, I am just really bummed and upset about the whole thing. Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
