Chat room

I went to the chat room, but couldn't talk--can somebody explain how o do this?

I think there must have been a problem with the chat. I tried for so long to get in that my server disconnected me! Anyone game to try again tonight? I haven't used the Iowa Chat, but in the Main Chat, you type in what you want to say in the small box at the bottom of the screen and then hit enter. Don't know if this will hel*****t. I was really disappointed cause I wanted to talk to everyone that could be there. Maybe tonight? Keep trying, you will get it. Elizabeth
