I am approved I've got a date OMG OMG OMG I can't believe it......
I am so excited I thought I would have a heart attack from jumping up and down. I debated about calling the insurance today was going to wait till Monday but couldn't and was so happy when she said I was approved and that letters had gone out to me and the surgeon. Called right over to the surgeon she said yes got the letter yesterday and asked do you want to set a date? I thought what kind of question is that of course I do. She asked what date was and I've always had Dec. 8th in my head and they can do it then. I am just blown away at what an easy time I've had I first went to Dr. Filler around Oct. 3rd and now I am having the surgery Dec. 8th. I've got to go to the surgeon on the 28th of Nov and back for the pre op with Dr. Filler on Dec. 2nd. Did I say I was excited???? Ann
OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG...... WE HAVE THE SAME DATE!!!!!!!
I just got my date on Wednesday. Was aiming for the 1st of December, but they wanted me to be 8 weeks out since I quit smoking, so they scheduled me for the 8th. I also have been approved for insurance.
Ann, what kind of wls are you having?
We can be buddies in our journey!

Annette, when you click on "your profile" at the top of the page, it will have you sign in, then switch to a page that has a bunch of different options. Most of the stuff you do will be under "general info" but I think to add in your date, you have to click on the "Ive got a date" one and it will get ya through there. If this doesn't work, let me know and I will check it further. I hope you didn't take that brain surgeon comment the wrong way. I meant it didn't take a brain surgeon in the Dr.'s office to figure out that yes of course you want to set a date! Sorry if I was confusing on that. Elizabeth
Sounds like there's going to be a lot of "Christmas babies" this year!! LOL!! What a great way to start the new year! Your scheduling really went fast and the main perk of doing it the end of the year(if you have already met your deductable) is that most of it should be covered by ins! Please keep us posted on your progress!
