I'm approved, now I just need a surgery date!!!!

I actually got my approval letter before the Dr.s office called to tell me I was approved. I was hoping to get this done yet this year, but I still need to see the pulmonogist because I have sleep apnea. That's fine. Like the surgeon said he wants to take all the necessary precautions. Getting a little nervous about things though, even though I dont' have a surgery date yet. I worry some days What IF but I have a great family and they keep reminding me to think positive, and they are here if IF happens that things will be taken care of. The worst is worrying about my kids though. I do so much with them now I worry what will I be doing to them IF something happens. Enough of that think the POSITIVE ONLY. Would like to hear from any of you that have any thoughts on this. GOD BLESS. TOWANDA !!!!!!!!

My husband and I both had this surgery and we have 1 year old twins. These fears were in my head daily. My therapist said...Knowledge overcomes fear. So I did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions. I then wrote letters to my children and made sure everything would be taken care of. I went in thinking I will survive and thrive because of this surgery...stay positive it helps your body deal with surgery and heal faster! Good Luck, you'll be in my prayers Deb Paul

THanks for the confidence. Every day is a roller coaster, is this right is this not. I have done lots of research over two years. I guess it hits me most when I'm volunteering at school with my kids or we're having a particularly great time doing something together I think how will they get along without me. Then the next day it's more of I can't wait to do this and get on to living a healhier life. I'm glad to hear that you and your husband are doing so well. TWINS wow, my boys were 18 months apart and that was a handful. Thanks for your well wishes and keep praying for me as I will do the same for you.
