2nd post op visit

Hi everyone-haven't been on here for awhile so I thought I would give you an update. Went to Dr. A.C. today for my 2nd post op and I lost another 30 lbs. YAHOO that's a total of 60 lbs. gone since my surgery 8 weeks ago. I feel great and have not any problems or complications. I have stop taking insulin and I can even walk alot better.I do not regret having this done I wish I had it done along time ago. I feel great and wish everyone who's had the sugery and who are going to have to surgery the best of luck and I am glad to be on the losing side. See you later Diana

Diana, Congrats on the big lose! That is awesome! I am 4 weeks out and down about 33 lbs and am on the "3 week mini plateau" right now. Hope to get it moving soon. But your post gives me hope! I am not Diabetic, but I only take my vitamins, pain meds (for OA and fibro) and my Zoloft (at my request) SOOOOO much nicer than the handful of pills I used to take every morning. I to wish I had done it a long time ago, but I really don't think I would have been as confident as I am now. Best of luck in the rest of your journey. Elizabeth

60#! That's great Diana! Is'nt it awesome the way the weight just seems to melt off? Makes it almost fun to step on the scales! Now THAT'S something I wouldn't have said a year ago!
