Hello, a newbie here!

I was just wanting to inquire about insurance. I have Marsh Advantage. I know enough about insurance, and know that it depends on what your employer has set up with the company, but does anyone else have Marsh Advantage and if so, do they consider payment for the procedure of the Open RNY? I would really like to know before embarking in this adventure. Thanks for any help that anyone can give me. Rhonda

Your best bet would be to call the customer service number on the back of your card and ask for the criteria they expect. You may need to be rather pushy because most of them will just say we don't cover that unless its "medically necessary." Get them to define EXACTLY what that means. I demanded that my ins rep read the criteria exactly as stated in the manual. Then you can base your acceptance letter on how you meet that criteria.
