LOL questions & sharing

For those of you who have had Medicare/Ia Medicaid did you have any problems getting approved? My paperwork has been submitted & now the wait (weight ) is on. Our support group met this week & it was a great meeting. 3 ladies were nominated for a "pamper day" at the Ia. Beauty School. A complete make-over from head to toe for each of them. The director had surgery 21 years ago & wanted a pamper day for some ladies. She is also thinking again for Xmas They suggest zinc for hair loss starting before surgery. Ok will check into that also. I did start B-12 shot. I have lost 11 pounds since initial consult which is ok by me. Another question does anyone have any home recipes for protein drinks? Would be much cheaper than buying them & more healthy. The weather is depressing right now but maybe we should look forward to spring & have a get together Any takers? Ok, I'm out of here. Hi Carolyn, Wishing you LOTS of LUCK on your surgery!! I had medicaide and was approved in 1 week. They submitted the papers on a Thursday and the following Thursday I knew. From the date of consult, it ended up being more like 10 days though. Not too bad. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that everything turns out wonderfully for you Take care, Lubbs, Tammy
