I had surgery on Monday and was released last night. The drain is sooo painful. But everything else seems to be going ok. Mercy is now requiring patients to take blood thinner shots for 10 days after surgery, so that means I will be giving myself shots in the stomach for the next few days. Not looking forward to that. But I will do anything for a good recovery. I will post more later.

Were the deaths of the two women due to blood clots? I only heard about them through the grapevine, but was too scared to read about it. Glad you are home. Here's to a speedy recovery!

Krista: I am glad you are home and doing well. I was down at Mercy Capitol and Tuesday for my consult with Dr. Cahalan and was thinking about you! Rest up & feel better soon!

You did well to be released so soon. I was very lucky I didn't have the drain tubes. If the shots are anything like the ones I had to do for invitro, you will hardly feel them(and I speak as the QUEEN of NEEDLE PHOBIA!). When I did the first one I hardly knew I did it! With the recent publicity any extras are only for your own safety. I hope each day gets better for you!
