1st post-op visit and metting PJ!

Hi all, I got to meet Patti Jo today! It was a short meeting, but was GREAT to put a face with the name. We really are gonna have to have a get together of all of us ya know. I met Patti Jo at my first post-op Dr. appt. I got my staples out (FINALLY!! They itch!), got the go-ahead to drive again (gotta help my blood pressure not riding with my Mother!), get to move up to pureed foods, and........in 11 days since surgery, I have lost 14 pounds! Unbelievable. I am starting to feel like this is all finally "real". Thanks again for all of the support and messages, and calls, and cards, and, and ,and!! LOL (((HUGS))) Elizabeth (PS. Isn't that awesome? I know exactly what you mean about finally feeling this is "real." That's such a good way to put it! It only gets better!
