I'm Still Hungry....

Have any of you read Carnie Wilson's new book called "I'm Still Hungry" it is really good. If you don't know who she is, she's a recording artist that had WLS. She was in Wilson-Phillips...she's Brian Wilson's daughter (Beach Boys) It's her journey through the surgery, and the last 5 years of her being post-op. I think it's really good, because it talks about her highs and lows leading up to the surgery and after.

I love carnie wilson and I have watched a lot, and her tv show she did about the surgery. I definitely will have to look for this book. Maybe I can even get my dad to read it to. I am still trying to talk him into the surgery. Judi

Can you tell us a little bit more about the highlights? I'm going to try and find it in the library. By the way, how are you two doing?

I've read her first book, "Gut Feelings," and the new one you've read. I thought both were good. The new book gets into more issues of maintenance, plastic surgery, her tips on how to be successful after WLS, etc. I can totally relate to her, and get a kick out of her *****iness and style! She tells it like it is. Francie

It might be too new to find in the library..it's a perfect book for WLS patients because sh'e 5 years post-op...it has a couple of naughty parts...just a warning, but I really liked it. Jason is down 66 lbs and I'm down 40..we're doing great and I can hold my kids again YEA! Deb PAul
