APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy Cow- I cannot believe it- but I am approved. My surgeon's office just faxed the request to BC/BS on Friday afternoon. I called this afternoon to BC/BS, just to make sure that they had recv'd the info. Well, not only had they recvd it- but had already approved it!!! Can you believe it? I asked the woman about 4 times if she was SURE that I was approved for the surgery and not just an appt with Dr. Cahalan. She laughed and kept telling me I was really approved!!!!! Oh Wow!!! I don't even know what to think at this point. Things are moving right along now. I had my first visit with Dr. Cahalan just today, my psych consult tomorrow- then should be ready to schedule. Dr. Cahalan thought that early Dec. was very "do-able"- WoW!!!! For all of you who have been waiting soooooo much longer than I have for approval- I will keep pulling for you. Believe me, when you hear the words "you're approved" your tribulations will all be worth it!!! Michelle

LET'S CELEBRATE!!!! It is always a relief to hear those words: "YOU ARE APPROVED!!" Just a few more steps and you will be on the other side! What a super Christmas present for you!

MY INITIAL INFO WAS SENT IN TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY AUGUST 8. MY SURGERY COORDINATOR HAS SENT MORE INFO IN, AND I HADTO GET MY PSYCH EVAL. I COULD'T STAND IT ANYMORE,AND CALLED THE INSURANCE REP.
