Protein Stuff

I was thinking ahead tonight and I am going to try some of the "Any Whey Tasteless protein" From the Susan Maria that is a frequent poster on the main message board. Says it should ship in 2-3 business days. I will let you all know what it is like. I tried a bunch of the samples from vitalady.com and didn't like ANY of them pre-op. So tasteless I am! LOL Also, if anyone needs some of that Resource Drink for clear liquids post-op, I ahve a BUNCH of the wild berry stuff left. It is what Dr. AC and Myrie patients have to have and others I would imagine, like the boost breeze. Let me know if ya want it. ( sorry, gotta try to get some of my money back on it, but only $1.00 for each 8 oz. box.) I actually paid a little more than that, but won't complain. Anyway, just thought I would let you all know I am looking forward to getting my protein. I am also doing pretty good now. The pain in my ribs is getting better a little bit each day and I am finally able to stand up straight so I can walk a little more. Went to the park with my sister and the dogs today. It felt sssoooo good to be out on a rare beautiful day (cloudy and cold lately) Didn't want to leave, but was getting tired. Hi Elizabeth, I too, have some of the nasty berry resource drink. ICK. It sounds like your comming right a long. Did you go home with any drains? I'm up and about but not up and out as of yet. I tried once to go out and it was to much work and painful trying to figure out how to handle 3 drain bags. So I do my walking in the apt. or out in the long hall. Tues. drains are suppose to come out. Keep your fingers crossed. Take care. You sound great. Patti

Patti Jo, I am doing GREAT! The only drain I ever had was the NG tube and I begged the Dr to take it out the day after surgery! What time is your appt on TUes? I have one that day too! 11:15 I think. Hoping my staples will come out since I am having that metal alergy. I have been to the store twice, and I am gonna convince Jeff he needs to take me to walmart tomorrow! LOL Our place is too small to do much walking, but have been outside a couple of times to talk to the new neighbor. I am on vicodin too instead of lortab, couldn't get it down. Hi Elizibeth Great to hear your doing so good and are out and about doesn't it feel good?. About the protein thing I went through several different ones until I was at the GNC store getting vitimans and got to talking to the clerk there, I told him what a horrible time I was having getting a drink I liked and could keep down he suggested ON 100 percent instantized whey protein in double rich choc, and low and behold it is actually good it taste like olvatien if you remember that or ever had it and it comes in a 2 lbs can 31 servings and well worth the money . So give it a try because if you don't like it you can take it back and recieve a full refund that's the good thing about there products they stand behind them . FYI Sherry Hefley
