Bobbi, the way I look at it ANY surgery is a risk. Personally I'm not letting this scare me off. It doesn't make any difference on what kind of surgery you are having, it is always a risk. You need to DO THIS FOR YOURSELF!!! Maybe you should remind your family that if you don't have the surgery they may lose you anyway. It's YOUR decision not their's.
