Family backlash

Oh my god I sooooo agree with you.My husband told me yesterday that I could not have the surgery now because of the 2 women that died in DesMoines.I don't want to back out but I have NO support at all and now he is more against it that he was before.He said that I have lost 14 lbs.and that I can do it on my own but it feels like a long way to go.I wish they would of left it out of the paper or printed what caused them to die.

Tammy you can whine anytime, I'll listen! You need to stay positive, stay away from the negatives! I think it is best you let them know that in your heart you are doing the right thing & if they can't be positive for you then you are going to have to stay away from them. My son's significant other has been giving me grief about having the surgery, BUT I turned the tables on her & let her know this is my life we are talking about. If I don't have surgery I'm going to die & probably sooner! And I also reminded her I could have died when I had my hysterectomy & nobody tried to talk me out of that surgery! She shut up in a hurry.
