where's my period?

I had WLS on Aug 11th the next day I started my period and have not had one since. Does any one else have this problem? any info would be appreicated. Thanks Sherry Hefley.,

I wish I had your problem. I started bleedin back in May and haven't stopped. I have had 3 depo shots in 5 months and still spotting. I am going crazy here.~~~Amy LAP RNY 08-05-03 / -40 pounds

Sherry, I was told that some people stop their periods all together, while others bleed MORE than usual. My luck has been bad. I have had longer than usual (10 days at the least) period..with MAJOR cramps.

It sucks. I wish i had your predicament...lol.. so does my hubby

I;m on the pill, and I've had 2 periods this month. I think your body needs a while to adjust, plus whan you're loosing weight quickly a lot of women stop menstrating

I've had 3 periods since my surgery on Aug 11. They are definitely different than pre-op! Seem to start out slow and last forever! But no cramps for me thank goodness! Having another child at age 39 took care of that!
