Just wanted to let everyone know I got a call today from the social worker for the boys we are trying to adopt. The termination was today and it went off without a hitch. The actual legal day is the 21st and we will be informed of the desion as to wether we will get the boys. According to the worker, the father had been in her office several times begging that we be the ones to get them. Our first visit will be the 25th. We will finally be meeting our newest children. Christopher will be 3 in December and Hunter will be 2 in March. Thank you for all the prayers.~~~Amy LAP RNY 08-05-03 / -39 pounds

Amy - Congrats on your boys! Yes, life will change...in many GOOD ways. I just read your profile. I, too, have endometriosis -- nasty little disease. I had to do IVF to get pregnant. We had started down the adoption route as well, but were surprised that IVF worked the first time. I still have a soft spot in my heart for adoption, and can certainly understand how excited you must be. I'll be anxious to hear how it goes on the 25th. Keep us posted! And congrats on your weight loss. Life only gets better from here on, right? Francie

Amy, I am so happy for you and your husband. I know this has been a watershed year for you and everything is going to turn out spectacularly. This time next year, you will be skinny and the proud mother of two wonderful boys.

Amy- How wonderful for you and your husband. Adoption is a gift that benefits so many people. My younger brother is adopted and 30 years later is still the best gift my parents have given any of us- ever. Family is what matters most in this world. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
