I just don't understand it!

Two weeks ago I heard from the insurance company that I am denied due to lack of information. I talked to a girl at work who has the same insurance, pretty much the same health problems as myself, but who actually weighed less than me (we are pretty much the same height). She was approved for the WLS and has already had it (same surgical group as I am with) and the only problem she had with the insurance company was them misplacing the info. They did that to me too. I just don't understand how they could approve her and then deny me. I am just so angry! My back pain is getting so bad I can hardly stand it. Sorry for being a whiner, but I am just so depressed right now. Sheila

Sheila, I am so sorry! But you need to do what you have to do...research, appeal, call them and talk to them more...whatever you have to do. I know in my heart you will have this surgery if you want to! I will keep you in my prayers! I am so sorry ! Deb
