Hey post-ops! Any questions from you?

Do you have any questions, advice or just want to sound out? Make yourself heard here!

Embarrassing problem.... constipation. I drink and drink and drink and still feel like I am giving birth every 3 days or so! Do any of you take a laxative? What works best with you? Never had this problem before(probably because there was so much grease in my system! LOL!!!)

Hi Julie, Just a quick question is drainage from the incision a common place thing or I'm I just an exception to the rule ? Otherwise the first 2 wks post have been an experience, to say the least, Sheila

What incision, from where your tube was or your actual large incision? I never had any drainiage but the doc told me I might and to keep the area clean and make sure if the seepage smelled or was off-colored (green?? mucous-y?) that I should call in. Hope everything is going well for ya. Take it easy and remember, the pain goes away and so does the weight!! Julie

i drink a bit of milk. takes care of my problem with in an hour.

Question They tried to put iv in right side of neck and couldn't tried for15 min I had had NO meds at that point they said I was anatomically incorrect (no kidding) so surgeon came in and put line in at collar bone. This area right neck, jaw,collarbone, chin is numb hurts like the dickens, and hurts to swallow, turn head,etc. Doc says "don't worry it will go away" I have pushed and cannot get any answer than that. Any ideas? Should I go to an ear nose and throat doc and try to find out? Thanks
