Update on me and mom

Well, I have been so busy lately, I have been regularly reading the board but have not had the time to post. Soccer season started and I am coaching a couple of teams for my sons. I have been maintaining my weight of 155 for over a month now, it seems like I eat like a pig but I think it is because I am too used to not eating much at all. I can tolerate almost anything. I can't wait to go shopping again, my size 10 jeans need a belt so I get to buy 8's!! On a crappy note, I have not heard anything from my insurance company yet, so I called them regarding my plastic surgery. They said something on it is denied... but they remitted for a few different procedures so I don't know what is denied- maybe all of it, maybe 1 or 2 prodecures. For those of you who have been asking me about my mom and keeping us in your thoughts- MD Anderson cancer clinic in Texas called her and told her that there was nothing they could do for her that is different than what she is getting in Iowa City. She submitted her paperwork to Mayo and they have accepted her and she is going there on Tuesday!! They are putting her in a clinical study, which is good! I am hoping they are able to beat this cancer because I am really sick of her being sick. I'm sue she is too

Sounds like you are a busy lady but in the midst of all that you are maintaining your weight loss. Good job! Your mom is lucky to be going to Mayo- as far as I'm concerned they are the BEST alongside John Hopkins. Hope she can get some answers there!

Julie, Wow a size 8. That is wonderful. I am down 25 pounds today and starting to feel better. I hope the plastic surgery is approved for you. I will be praying for your Mom.
