Another Appointment Today

Well, I had e-mailed obesityhelp.com to let them know that my surgery date doesn't appear with the list of others from Iowa but have yet to receive a reply --- so I guess I'll toot my own horn?!?!? Susan Rapp and I have surgeries scheduled with Dr. Sundberg in Boone on the 14th of October. I went last week and had all the pre-op workup done. Today is my H&P with my regular doc. I'm really getting nervous, I was reading through the book Dr Sundberg's office gives to their bariatric patients last night, and I got all teary when it came to the desciption of what the surgery is like. I don't know, I've only ever had one other operation in my life (C-section) and I guess I'm just having those usual pre-op doubts. I just keeping asking myself if I'm really willing to have my insides all rearranged to lose weight? I know that I'll never be thinner or stay healthy if I don't do something BUT...... Oh, you all know the rest, I'm sure everybody goes through this??????? RIGHT?????????

Deb, do you have a profile page? Your name isn't underlined like the rest of us. If you do, go to the "your profile" icon at the top of the page and then put in your log in and password to update your profile. After you log in, scroll down through the list of stuff until you see General Info. This is where you put in your journal and dates and almost everything else. I have updated my profile several times. The changes are taking and things are updating on it - including my surgery date - however, I'm still not in the loop that allows everyone to view my profile by clicking on my name when I post messages or replies. I don't know why. As I said I also don't come up on the "upcoming surgeryies" list, although there are people on it from out of state? Good Luck Deb! That was a great article in Sunday's paper about Dr. Sundberg! I had some doubts too, it's normal. Just keep praying and having positive thoughts and remind yourself that you have a strong body and it will pull you through it! Deb Paul
