Free At Last, Free At Last!!!

Hi everyone! I'm home and it feels great to be home and freed up from IVs and shots! The surgery went fine and yes it hurt. Thank God for pain killers. It was great to see my kids, I missed them so much, but I'm glad they're leaving for a few days...I'm not feeling quite up to par. I'm still feeling very weird inside, very gassy, and just jumbled up. I't easy to eat a small amount and feel satisfied, but my eyes see every food now! I had a roomate and she was having a tummy tuck after wls, it was great to be roomed with her because she was 2 years post op and had lost 190lbs. Grinnell was wonderful, excellent care!!! Thanks for all the well-wishes and prayers! And thanks for visiting me Shelia!

glad everything went well in surgery. now comes the fun part! lol. good luck on everything, and keep posting things when you can. I know I had the hardest time sitting at the computer for the first few weeks after surgery. Anyhow, congrats and welcome to the losing side! Judi

Deb! So glad everything went well! You describe the feeling perfectly. I didn't know how to put it into words(jumbled up inside) but that's exactly how it felt! LOL! What a great opportunity to room with another post WLS! Will be looking forward to hearing more about both you and Jason's progress! The WLS couple champs of the year!!!!
