More Insurace "BS"

Just un update on my insurance . They called me today telling me they need MORE additional Infomation. I about went nuts. They need more detailed diet history in the past year. Sooo the very nice lady that called me told me to wright out EVERYTHING myself and see if the Dr. would sign it for me so i just got back from taking it out to the Doctors office . I pray that she signs it. I think thats all they need . But who knows what they may say next. Also I went for a sleep study last night and I do have sleep apnea ..Stacy XOXO

Stacy, here is something I came acroseed while reading the main message board. Hope it helps. Elizabeth Hi all, I want to be thoughtful here on how I post my message. I would read the message boards and learn of all the people approved. While ecstatic for them, it did little to help me feel like I was any closer to getting a surgery that I believe will dramatically improve the quality of my life. I was denied for RNY by BCBS of IL PPO about 3 months back. I was devastated. The surgicl group who handles the insurance approval had told me I had great insurance and approval would be a cinch. Well, it was not the case. So, after MANY phone calls to BCBS and a 72-page appeal package (prepared by me), I found out on Tuesday that the denial has been overturned and benefits for RNY are now APPROVED! If anyone would like to see my appeal and accompanying information, please email me. I feel so lucky that the fight is over. I'm happy to help anyone else stuck in the nightmare.
