protein
Congradulations on getting through the first three weeks Cindy. If you question protein content it may be helpful if you would get a calorie/nutrition counter book and learn how to read food labels. I don't understand why your doctor doesn't want you to drink protein drinks. To me it is the easiest way to make sure I have had enough protein. Instant dry milk helps too. For each 1/3 cup you add to pudding, soup, etc.. you are adding 8 grams of protein. One oz of meat= 8 grams of protein too. Eggs are good too because they can be mixed into many things without affecting the taste. It's really important to get enough protein because if you don't, your body will break down your muscles instead of burning fat. Ask you doctor for other suggestions.
