Well, I am real sore today. I have a Jackson-Pratt drainage tube and it is very tender. Iam excited about tomarrow and I get to have the full liquid diet. No more Boost Breeze. You do get use to it after a while. I have been trying to walk more but its hard when your sore. I have lost 17 pounds. This is the hardest part of this surgery. Recovery... I am a little emotional these days. When they started me out with the bosst breze I was surprised be cause it wasn't sugar free. It has 31 grams of sugar. My next step is double milk and Nestle instant breakfast........ When did you guys start the soft foods like cottage cheese ect....

Lisa! I'm so sorry I have been out of town. I have been thinking about you and wondering how the surgery went. I know its hard right now and there will be days when you may regret this, but I promise you....each day gets a little better. I am surprised about the Boost Breeze, wow that's alot of sugar! I was able to start soft cottage cheese at 3 weeks out! Good luck to you. If you feel up to it, the next support group meeting is Thur. Sept. 18th! email if you need anything! Welcome to the Other Side hun! Gentle Hugs.....
