Surgeries

Hi all !!! I just checked the upcoming surgery list and do ya'll realize that in the next 2 days there are 5 surgeries??? WOW!! and 5 different surgeons! Keeping them busy for sure huh? Anyway, I posted to the main message board, but not sure how to put those links here so please try to find the following people and wish them well. Tomorrow (9/2/03) Sharon Manchester (Dr. Rogers in Council Bluffs) Lisa Jordan (Dr. Samuel Univ. of IA-IA City) Kamilia Lee (Dr. Breiling in Cedar Rapids) then on Wed. (9/3/03) Edward Sandy (Dr. Glas**** in Cedar Falls) and Jim Diehl (Dr. VerSteeg in Ft. Dodge) I will try to get links to the hospital e-cards sites for all of these and if some of you that are in these areas happen to havea few minutes free if you could either call or stop in and see these people. With the exception of Lisa, they are not really posters on this board. (Lisa, we will always make exceptions for you GF!! I was at Methodist again yesterday (for my sister this time not me! LOL) and if I could have remembered which people were there I would have stopped. I had plenty of time waiting! Sorry I haven't been staying on top of things like I was, but I am doing better each day and Friday is my appt. with the cardio. Dr. so that will hopefully take some of the worries off my back. The cooler weather has been awesome, as you all know, with this much added "insulation" I get very hot and uncomfortable. Glad my surgery is in Oct. instead of like May when I would be stuck inside because of the heat. And as on lady posted on the Main board, she kinda likes the idea of being able to "unveil" in the spring so everyone can see how well things have gone. LOL OK, OK, I am done rambling for now. So, Elizabeth. Isn't the uof Iowa hospitals that aren't rea;;y posters for this board is that what you meant? I am less then 24 hours. I am so excited and can't wait for the surgery to be over. I quess I didn't realize that there would be so many of us. My best friends from Flordia or in town to help support me. I am the luckiest girl I know.

Hi Elizbeth You know I read your post alot and I think you are so very nice and considerate to pump every body up the way you do I just wanted to wish you all the best !!! There is at least one other that I missed. Kathy Taylor on 9/2/03 at Sartori in Cedar Falls.
