For my angel Elizabeth
You DID NOT fail in your angel duties!!! It was very comforting to know there was people out there pulling for me. It really means more than you know!
You would not have caught me home anyway if you had emailed. I have been running 6 ways from Sunday since we got back from Co. I lost 40 pounds the first 4-5 weeks due to high stress levels in all that happened. Now I am just enjoying the time with my family before I go back to work. We have been on a float trip (more like a walk in the water because the river is so low we walked more than floated) been horse back riding several times and just having a great time this summer. I feel better than I have in years! I am a little frustrated because I am keeping my intake around 300 calories a day and not losing any more weight but I am losing size and I LOVE it. The weight will come I am sure. Anyone with tips feel free to post and let me know if I am doing something wrong!
We are headed out for an all day ride tomorrow and a cattle roping lesson on Sunday and another river walk/float on Monday and a 9 hour ride in to Ft. Madison on Friday. I will probably have to return to work on the 18th and I want to cram as much in to the last few weeks with my kids that I can.
Anyway, don't feel bad if I don't post as often as I should. I am just living the life I was missing when I decided to have WLS. I have a lot of catching up to do!!
DO keep in touch! Tracy
Tracy, thanks and you are welcome. I am glad you were able to remember the people here pulling for you. I hope I can be half as active as you have been post-op. It sounds like fun and things that I have denied myself for so long. Definitely gave me more ideas for my "want to do " list !! (intertubing and horse back riding. You had better keep in touch too! We all want to hear about your journey. (((HUGS))) Elizabeth
