Need some Western Iowa support

The doctor and I have talked about the Lap Band procedure. Just waiting on insurance now. I am from Missouri Valley and I haven't seen anyone who is from this area. If there is anyone, I would really like to see some posts or get a group going. Have a great 3 day weekend!!!

Sharon, I'm from NW Ia from Emmetsburg, I'm having open rny on 9-16 in Rochester I wish I could be some support for you but I'm abou 21/2 hrs north and east of ya Maybe you could look for a support group in Council Bluffs or Omaha bet there are a few there Best of Luck Sheila

Im from Sioux City - still about an hour North of you. We have a group through Mercy Medical Hospital the meetings are held on Tuesday evenings at Western Iowa Tech. You could call the hospital and get the details.
