SEPT 2 IS A GO

Well, today I went to see the doctor and my white blood count is good and I report to the Uof Iowa Tues morning at 12:30am. My surgery is second case after 2:30pm. I will be on the 7th floor. I will have a family member post my room number and phone number for me. Iam so excited. Thank you all for your support. Lisa J

GO, GO, GO! Don't party too hard this weekend. You might want to get everything ready to go today or tomorrow and then rest up. It might be hard to sleep come Monday night?! Take care - in a week, it will all be behind you. Deb W.

All right!!! So good to hear everything is working out! Your day is imminent! Just make sure you following all the rules in the first few weeks and you should not have any major complications. UIHC is the best- it's where I would have gone had my insurance allowed it. I have had many other procedures done there in the past and the quality of care and expertise is unsurpassed! Remember to drink, drink, drink this weekend(water that is!!!) to help you stay hydrated. Makes it much easier for the IV's. I will be thinking of you!

yahoo - I have been wondering about you. I will be down there Thursday for my meeting with the anestesiologist (sp?) so I might be able to check on you then. Take Care and you will be in my prayers!!
