One week to go

As of today I should have one more week to go. My surgery it should be Sept 2. If all goes well with my white blood count. Today I feel sick though. I am real tired and my throut is scratchy. I have been taken my meds and hoping for the best.

Lisa, when I made my trip to the ER this last weekend, I was told my white count was slightly elevated too. They didn't know WHERE the infection was, but gave me antibiotics. I talked to a few medical type people and they all said that an elevated WBC can come from many things. I ouwld imagine you will be OK by next week. As for the tiredness and scratchy throat, the weather has been a BIG factor on that. With it so dry, all sorts of nasty stuff is floating around and attacking your throat everytime you breathe. And the heat is enough to drain anyone. Even my bf who is a Florida native! You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a problem free surgery. Elizabeth
