It's Julie, I have lost another pound, totalling 167 lost and I weigh 156. I have not been exercising very much, but have been watching what I eat, and GOD, those fried green tomatoes taste SOOOOO good!! The craziest thing I have ever done would HAVE to be shaving the back of my head when I was 21 so when I wore my hair up in a pony tail I looked like I was half bald! (I may have done crazier things, but I am not putting them here!!!!) Have a GREAT week, girls and boys!! XOXOXOX

Michelle here- 2 weeks post-op and just goin with the flo, learning the new lifestyle. Still some incision pain but less each day. I am finding it hard to incorporate enough protein into my day. Protein powder or dry milk adds a sweet taste to everything! Anyone had any experience using dry egg powder? Other ideas? The craziest thing I have ever done????.... I would have to say it was when I floated on a boogie board out into the ocean in Hawaii on Waikiki Beach. It was probably stupid because I'm not that good of a swimmer but I am mesmerized by the ocean and just loved the feel of the waves crashing around me. At the time I didn't realize how dangerous it was because there were kids on surfboards all around me. They would come right at me when a wave hit and then veer off at the last second. Lord only knows how deep the water was in that place too. I got at least 100 yrds out. But I had fun and lived through it and would probably do it again! So exhilerating!

Hi All, I am a bundle of nerves this week. I have been waiting for almost a year for surgery and now if my blood count doesn't get better I will have surgery postponed. Which I think most of you know. I go to the doctors on Friday morning for a blood test. So I am keeping my fingers crossed. The craziest thing I have done... HUmmm! I have done ALOT of craziness. Once on a dare I drove down first ave in cedar Rapids with no shirt on. That was my younger years.LOL pretty crazy....Here is the kicker I wasn't under the influence of anything.

Wow! You guys are so tame! Julie I shaved my head like that too...it must have been "cool" at the time Lisa, I "ran" down the street with no shirt for a dare. Let's just say...my favorite drink is "Sex on the Beach" because it brings back an embarrassing moment for Jason and I...yes...we were caught by other tourists on a moonlit night on a beach in the Bahamas.......Today is my Birthday....28.....!!!!

I am so thrilled for you "losers" and hope the rest of you get to be losers too. I still am sitting on the fence and let me tell you, at 355 lbs. the fence is starting to sag. I think I need to get stronger before any surgery--I have a fear of getting down and not being able to get back up. anyway the craziest thing I did was race my husband home, after he had been gone all week working, I had been drinking, and took a shortcut, not knowing that the road closed sign was for real--I thought they were just oiling the road, needless to say there was no crossing at the railroad tracks anymore, just the rails. they had to stop the Amtrack and some other trains until they got my car off the tracks. OOOh were the railroaders mad. anyway I was loaded in the sheriff's car for safe keeping, no charges filed (I am hoping the statute of limitations is over)

ok, so its not morning anymore, but its Monday still, so I will still post a reply! Things are going OK, a little over 3 months post op and about 80 lbs gone, still losing about a pound a day, but if I got out and walked more (which is not easy in this D*** humidity!!! ) I would be doing a lot better even now! craziest thing?? My life is full of crazy things, lol. Honestly, the craziest thing I have done so far is go through with this surgery! I never ever in my wildest dreams thought I would actually do it. (ok, the other crazy thing, getting my nipples pierced 3 1/2 years ago, and leaving them in even now, although Dr Eibes made me take them out for surgery, LOL) have a good week all!!! hopefully it cools off SOME!!
