Sence I talked to the Insurance Co. last friday I found that they need documentation that I have been on Dr. supervised diets that they need to see the menical records. The doctors office said they sent it in and there(BCBS) saying that they didnt . Anyway the doctors office said that they will sent it in AGAIN. So what do you all think is going on? Im kinda thinking that they might approve me and thats all there waiting for to see the proof. but then part of me thinks that there just giving me the run around. Im still very upset I dont know what I will do if I dont get approved. PLEASE tell me what youll think ..Be honest I need to know what to expect. HELP.....Stacy XOXO

Maybe they are questioning the wording in the records. I suppose the ins companies are under pressure to be nit-picking. Hopefully it is just a minor glitch. I would think if they were going to turn you down it would have been an immediate turn-down. Apparently they found nothing obvious in the packet they have. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

I agree with Michelle. If they were going to deny you, it would have probably been immediate. BC/BS is pretty good about approval quickly, but they requested further info from my PCP before approval. I think they just want to make sure all their t's are crossed and i's dotted for their records. I do know the waiting is pretty exasperating, though. Good luck. Susan

GOOD LUCK HON!! Get your ins. in touch with your DR. office, whenever I have had problems with the, I called the insurance and had them call the dr.s office while I was onthe phone listening so that I would KNOW that things were taken care of. I will keep ya in my thoughts and prayers hoping that everything will be worked out in the end and you will have surgery date SOON! Again, good luck and if you have any questions, ask away!!! ~Julie
