Last doctors appointment

Today I spent from 1 am- 3 pm at the U of Iowa going over final Pre-op info and test. I was disappointed because the doc had taken the day off. This is the second time this has happened. AHHH. Well as long as the surgery goes on time 9/2 I should be happy. Thank you to all of you addressing my concerns over my death...... What will be will be.... I am going to think postive. There ain't no mountain high enough. Good advice.... Lisa J

That's the way to think, you go give em' hell girl!!!!

You're in the home stretch girl! As one who has already crossed over, surgery is only half the battle- it is only a means to an end. The pain and fear leading up to surgery will be a memory in a couple of weeks but the committment to a lifestyle change will be with you the rest of your life! Just keep thinkin about those positive changes vs how out of control you have felt about your weight in the past. The surgery will give you the structure you need to succeed! I will be keeping track of your progress! Michelle
