I'm sorry I didn't get on here earlier. As of Saturday morning I am off the Lovenox injections. I got Saturday night off from the Cumidin as well, but I am back on it as of Sunday night. I am breathing easier and even went out for a bit Saturday night. It was so nice to finally get to meet Judy. She is looking so good. As of today I am down to 232. My pre-op weight was 247 and I was 254 the day after surgery. Either weight you look at I am doing good as far as getting the weight off. I get to start going to the hospital and working out next week. Hopefully that will make the weight come off quicker. Thank you all for your prayers and concern. I can't begin to tell you how blessed I feel to have such a supportive group of "friends".~~~Amy LAP RNY 08-05-03/-15

WOW AMY!!! - 22 lbs? WOW! in less than 2 weeks! Do you know if yo are going to have to stay on the coumadin from now on, or just for a while? Probably not what you want to hear, but my Mom has been on it for many years, and has to have her blood checked about once a month. They are forever "adjusting" her dose. My sister that had a PE in November last year is on a steady amount and only has hers checked every couple of months. She will be on it for the rest of her life, but she has a clotting factor that is kind of rare. I would imagine that the exercise at the hospital will help the weight loss and probably your state of mind. I know I complain about my PT, but I really do feel better (the next day! LOL) I will probably be antsy after surgery, waiting for my incision to heal so I can get back in the water! Best of luck and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Elizabeth
