I didn't want any more time to go on without thanking the partners behind the scenes who have put up with our mood swings, the emotional rollercoaster of indecision\ins approval\and preop tests that may or may not have had positive outcomes... their interest, support, and sensitivity in exploring lifestyle changes to promote better health, not just another attempt at a "diet" for vanity sake. For my own husband who has been behind me all the way which means so much to me. Give yourselves a big pat on the back!!!!

I totally argree with you Michelle. They have been wonderful! My hubby thinks they should form a support group for SPOUSES of people having WLS or even considering it. He thinks they need to be prepared for handling all the mood swings etc. that we go through. I think he's right.

I couldn't agree more! the more the merrier! I don't know how my bf has put up with me the last few months. I have been almost obsessed and I have noticed other things have been neglected. (dishes, grocery shopping, laundry etc.) They don't get done as soon as they should and some times he has to improvise. That and I would imagine he would like to duct tape my mouth every time I say, "just imagine, after surgery......" Hopefully I will be able to live a longer, healthier life and spend that time making it up to him. Please do invite sign. others to post. I am very interested to hear their thoughts and feelings about this journey. Elizabeth
