Brother's surgery

My brother, Jim's, surgery went really well on Tuesday in Des Moines. They did keep him in intensive care for the first night and kept him there the second night as well because his fluid output wasn't what the surgeon expected. He was up three times yesterday walking and sat up in the chair for two hours yesterday. Dr. Beck said it was textbook surgery and things went really well. He should be home by Fri. or Sat. I was down there for two days, am back to work for two days, and will head down there Fri. after work for the weekend. It has certainly given me insight as to what to expect for my surgery, although Jim's was done open and mine should be lap.

What a wonderful sister you are! I'm glad to hear everthing went well. I to hope that when I get it done it goes that well for me. When and where will your surgery be? Well, tell him good luck and I wish him lots of weight loss. keep us all informed ok. Take of you.
