The Last Supper

Monday is my surgery so tonight I had "The Last Supper" at my favorite buffet, the Metro Buffet in Cedar Rapids. It has a Chinese theme but also serves American. My entire family minus my daughter-in-law(who had to work) were able to come> it was awesome having everyone together, especially my middle son who has been wayward and rebellious. I hadn't seen him in over 6 months but he is finally starting to show some signs of maturity. My husband and he were able to iron out some long-standing issues so that has put me at great peace. Tomorrow I start the final countdown and will be greatly increasing my water intake to be fully hydrated for surgery as well as limiting how much I eat. Anything to avoid post op nausea! Just wanting to touch base.....
