Thanks for all the support

Hey all ...I am HOME!!! I was released this afternoon at 5pm. I am feeling wonderful. I find it really hard to believe that I even had surgery. That is until I take too big a drink :p~. I am off of pain medication and I feel I am truly blessed. I have had no complications except for some reason I can't take the liquid protein drink. It won't go down or come up. That was the most uncomfortable 1 1/2 hours I had. Thank you again for all the support. The phone calls were wonderful! I got them just when I needed them. Except poor Dawn. Both times she called I was in the potty.... I was at 248 the day of surgery, 252.4 the following day and back down to 250 today. Ain't life grand?~~~Amy LAP RNY 08-05-03

I'm so glad your home and everything went well, but then again I told you it would and I'm never wrong (yeah right). You are going to look so fabulous and feel even better, I am so jealous I can barely stand it. Get lots of rest and take care of you.

I wouldn't be surprised, the way my luck has been...lol. But, as you know I was persistant and kept calling bac****il i got you! Hope your breathing treatment went well after I talked to you earlier today. I wish soo bad that I could have had mine done Lap...you are doing soo good girl! And dont worry..the weight will start coming off now that your off the IV. Mine dropped like crazy the first 2 weeks..i lost 24 lbs. Then it just STALLED for 1 1/2 weeks. Now in the last few days I've lost another 3 lbs! whoOOOPIEE! Down 27 lbs now. RELAX...REST...and DONT TAKE BIG DRINKS OF EVIL LIQUID PROTEIN. lol Take care sweetie! ~~~Dawn PHillips

Good to see you back on here again Amy! And glad you are doing so well. I like hearing reports like that, especially since I am due to go under the knife on Monday! Hopefully the protein drink intolerance is just temporary and you'll do better once your tummy is healed more. We will all be skinny gorgeous!!!!

Hey you beautiful woman, I am SO HAPPY that you made it to the other side safe and sound. I gained 11 pounds of fluid weight in the hospital so don't worry about that. You are going to do so well, I can not wait to see pictures of you in 4 monthes!! Congrats hon and keep us updated!! ~Julie
