I'm back too!!
Hi everyone! Just thought I'd update myself...I had my surgery on July 15th, fortunatley I havent really had any problems...other then yesterday my left insicion ( I had Lap surgery) started bleeding and oozing a little bit, but the surgeons office says not to worry unless I start having a fever. But I've lost 26 pounds and tomorrow I will be 2 weeks post-op! I had some issues with the second stage of my diet which is Full Liquids (milk,pudding,OJ, etc) I had some trouble with milk but I seem to be doing allright now, I'm thinking I tried to introduce too many foods too fast. Congrats and Happy 2 week anniversary! WTG on the 26 lb loss. Take it easy on the milk stuff, it has a lot of milk fats and surgars etc in it. Eventually you will be able to handle it, I promise. ( I know how much you love milk!) Hey! thanks for the tip on the Rival snow cone maker! That thing is sooo easy to use and it works great for texture. My older nephew (12 y/o) will be visiting next week and I think he will love it too. Bet I end up getting him one to take home with him. LOL Today is D (delivery) day for my Vitalady samples. I will let you all know what I think of the protein supplements. (pre-op opinion) Anyway, CONGRATS again. and Hang in There! Elizabeth
YAHOO Kelly! I am so happy you made it through with flying colors! Take it easy on the foods, and congrats on 26 pounds gone forever! I had a horrible time with milk too and still do not drink glasses of it. Also be careful on the amounts of juice you drink, there can be a lot of sugars in juice and you don't want to dump on it. Take care and make sure to ask any questions you might have. ~Julie
