New to this message board. Hi everyone, My name is Patti. I'm so glad I stumbled onto the message board. I will have my 2nd consult on 8/14 to set my surgery date. I'm very excited. I would love hear from any of you so please feel free to send me an e-mail or post a message.

I tried to e-mail you, but I got a mailer demon saying you didn't have an account with that isp.so here is my message! lol Hiya Patti Jo Ihad to have my psych eval and dietician appointment before submitting to ins. So those steps are done. I am not sure if I will need other tests or not yet. (i have asthma and sleep apnea so might have to see pulminology) IF you are seeing Dr. Sampel at Lutheran, it takes about 15 minutes and he askes about family history and that is about it. too easy! Welcome to the board, Patti!! Good luck with your upcoming surgery, I had an open RNY done over a year ago and would do it again tomorrow if I had to. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. What doc are you seeing? Have you decided what type of procedure you are having? If you ever have any questions, this is the place to ask them.
