It's been a year...

and I would do it again tomorrow if I had to. I weighed in today at 160 lbs, 1 pounds shy of being 'average' on a BMI. I am active, loving life, keeping up with the kids and enjoying the new life that Dr. Stoner gave me. 163 pounds gone forever. Please (I hate even asking) leave me some nice messages on my surgery support page, it is so bare and I feel unloved, lol. I hope everyone is well, and that you all are as happy with your surgical procedures as I am with mine. Take care all.... ~Julie

Julie, I know this comes late.. but I want to let you know how I celebrated your one year anniversary also. I thoguht about you actually the day before your one year day.... thinking about how nice it must be to be past all this adjustment stuff. I thought about what you had accomplished during that year.. and spoke of you several times during the day to my husband. You are right Dr. Stoner has given all of us a new life (a special place in heaven for that man). Withyou being so active and willing to help on this board and at the support meetings... you have taken your "new life" and made sure that it is of help to us that followed behind you. You have shared with us... in hopes of helping people through this .. you have made others stronger because of your willingness to give of yourself. Thankyou. You have no idea the effect your life makes on others. Enjoy your new year....... Sincerely ..~*~.. Susan
