help need anwsers!!

I have been a member to this site for a month and I am trying to have WLS. I have medicaid and it seems I will be put on a waiting list for the surgeon I want (fort dodge, iowa), for 6 months. Also I know I will have to pay some kind of co-payment but I would like to know how much other medicaid post ops payed. I am starting to worry I will not be able to afford this surgery I so deperatly need and want. The fact is I am a single mother trying to finish college and raise a three year old along with taking care of my parents. Help if you have any anwsers for me please e-mail me. Thank you

Welcome Kimberly! I am on medicaid/ Title XIX and I do not have to pay a co-pay as far as I know. Haven't heard anything about it. I have my second consult on Aug. 19th. I guess I will know more then. Elizabeth
